Webquest
Last week I did a webquest for the first time. It seemed to be fairly easy to create, until I got home and had to do it on my own. My computers at home do not have Front Page, so I was lost. Instead of working on my webquest assignment, I worked on the final project. I tried to maintain a positive attitude and look at other things I could get completed. So I worked on my final presentation. Today I talked with Professor Holderman and he cleared up what I was not doing. Now everything is all good!

Group Presentations
Presentations are not on my #1 list of things to do. I get really nervous when speaking in front of my peers; even though I do my research, I feel that I have limited knowledge of what I am talking about. I realize that this is a self-limiting belief, and what I fear the most is what I create. My teammates did a really good job during the presentation. They were poised and in control of the presentation. I feel that I let them down on my end.

Copyright
I do believe that I did this blog once before; but since I do not see it posted, here it goes again. I understand the point in plasarism, and feel that those caught should pay a price; although I do feel that if you purchase a c.d. or a video tape, you should be able to do whatever you want with it. I don't mean copy the songs or movies and make profits off of them, but you should be able to give them away if you want to.
Power Point
PowerPoint is a great tool to use in the classroom. It allows you to be organized and it manages your time. PowerPoint presentations will keep the students injected into the lesson; it is much better than telling the students to turn to page (?). Using PowerPoint for review day can also be very useful and fun.
